This was my first attempt at a collaborative project, working towards creating a web experience for the BoundbySound entertainment company that I am a part of. The task at hand was to create a place where our audience could receive information on upcoming events, view photos and video of events, purchase tickets, buy merchandise, and read up on news within the house music realm.
I initially put together the basic layout and wireframe of the website, but with a limited amount of knowledge on content management systems, my task was to put together and overlook a team to divide the different tasks. I worked with Jonathon Yule to develop the framework and aesthetic of the website. I also worked with Veronica Wong in coding the webpages and the back-end user interface. Finally, I worked closely with Anas Attia in developing the content for the website.
In the end, perhaps the most valuable lesson was to being able to understand how to work dynamically and collaboratively with a group of creative professionals. I continued to realize the importance of the design process, and the finding the right strategy to fulfill the intention of a challenge.
