Originally from Tehran, Iran, I am currently a photographer and graphic designer residing in Toronto, Canada. I studied at York University/Sheridan College Joint Program of Design, and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor in Design (Honours) degree.
As a self-taught photographer, I developed my own understanding of composition and perception at a young age. In 2005, I founded my first photography blog, gaining local and international recognition in the photography community and developing a strong web presence. Since then I have been fortunate enough to meet and work with many other creatives opening many opportunities for freelance work, exhibiting and publishing.
Since 2006, my academic studies have furthered my knowledge of aesthetics, as well as gaining a deep understanding of typography, interactivity and multimedia. More recently, I have been fascinated with the relationship between design and business, and design strategies. I have worked at companies such as CTV and Research in Motion, and am currently fascinated by User Experience and digital products on mobile devices.
