As a self-taught photographer, I developed my own understanding of composition and perception at a young age. In 2005, I founded my first photography blog, gaining local and international recognition in the photography community and developing a strong web presence. Since then I have been fortunate enough to meet and work with many other creatives opening many opportunities for freelance work, exhibiting and publishing.
In 2006, my academic studies at York/Sheridan Design Program in Toronto, Canada furthered my knowledge of aesthetics, as well as gaining a deep understanding of typography, interactivity and multimedia. I learned that creativity can solve problems. Since graduation, I have worked in the field of user experience design at companies such as Research in Motion and Reputation.com.
I am fascinated not just by how people connect with technology, but also how technology connects people. I love to help simplify the complex, work on big problems, and collaborate with tightly-knit teams. I’m on a mission to work on products that solve problems for people I care about.
